Editor’s Review
Overall, Northern Arctic makes for a pleasant vodka drinking experience. We’d like this vodka better at around $11 for a 750ml bottle because the $15 price tag puts it a little higher than better mid-tier vodkas like Svedka and Sobieski.
We don’t like to pretend that we can detect subtle flavors in vodka but this one does have a very slight sweet flavor to it. There is some burn but it’s not excessive and the finish was about average.
Of the mid-tier vodkas that we tried I can easily say that Northern Arctic has done the worst job of building a brand. This vodka has no soul. It has a very forgettable generic sounding name and its priced in such a way that really leaves no reason to ever purchase the product. But… we’re rating the taste of product here, not the marketing. I just felt like the marketing effort was so bad with this one that it was worth noting.
