Our Review
Belvedere Vodka
Belvedere is a “luxury” vodka from Poland distilled from Dankowski rye. Belvedere is distilled four times and claims to use a longer distillation method than most other vodkas. After distillation, Belvedere is blended with artesian well water and then filtered twice, once through a cellulose filter and a second time through an activated carbon filter. Belvedere received a double gold medal at the 2000 San Francisco Spirits competition.
The reviews for Belvedere were consistently good among all of the testers. Belvedere earned some very high scores for burn and finish as the testers noted its soft feel and smooth finish.
Belvedere isn’t the best vodka that we’ve tried, but it is one of the better super-premium vodkas that we tested and unlike a few of the higher rated options, it’s available in nearly every bar or liquor store.
